Dave Dravitzki (B.Sc, M.Sc, TIPENZ)

Dave is an Earth Scientist who has been working as an Engineering Geologist since completing his soil science and volcanology studies at Waikato University in 1999.

Dave runs our Kaikoura office, living in Kaikoura with his young family and coming up to the Blenheim office to service the Marlborough Sounds 2-3 days per week.

Prior moving to Marlborough, Dave spent the first 7 years of his career in Auckland, where he obtained a background in slope stability remediation, soft soil investigation, earth fill compaction, and contaminated site assessment.

It starts with a solid foundation

Dave’s expertise is primarily in site stability, foundation conditions, and soil erosion.  Dave also carries out soil assessments for wastewater designs.

Outside of office hours, Dave is a keen squash player (when not injured) and bridge player (when injured), and spends the weekends out and about with the wife and kids.
