Martin O’Brien BE (Civil), CPEng, MIPENZ

Since graduating in 1996, Martin has worked in Ireland and the UK with almost half of his career spent practising in New Zealand.  Martin has a broad range of structural engineering experience across a variety of sectors from residential and commercial to industrial and infrastructure projects.  This crosses a spectrum of project scale from beams in residential units to earthquake assessments of multi-storey buildings. 

Martin brings a collaborative approach by working with the client, architect and construction team to tailor solutions to meet the client’s needs.

Away from the office, Martin and his family enjoy the best the Marlborough outdoors has to offer.
