COVID-19 - Level 1

8th June 2020 CORONAVIRUS update

Smart Alliances are committed to keeping employees and the wider community safe by preventing the spread of COVID-19. 

With the Government announcing a drop to Level 1 at midnight tonight (Monday 8th June 2020) we are returning to our 'normal' working conditions tomorrow.  We still have procedures and protocols to follow to keep everyone safe.  These protocols and procedures can be found here

COVID-19 - Level 2

13th may CORONAVIRUS update

Smart Alliances are committed to keeping employees and the wider community safe by preventing the spread of COVID-19. 

We are able to re-open our office to the public under Alert Level 2 - This means we can re-commence meeting with clients, there will be a register to fill in when you come into the office.

Site visits and inspections can continue and some restrictions have been relaxed.  However, there are still protocols to follow to align with the Level 2 Protocols for the Construction Industry.   

Below is information that you need to know about our new operating procedures:

  • Our offices are open.  Most of the team will be working from the office.  Some will remain working from home.

  • For current and new clients our service to you remains the same, we can now have face to face meetings if required. 

  • For inspections.  Please phone the office on 03 579 6211 to book your inspections.  There is some additional information that we will require from you.  All of the details are HERE

  • For site visits please contact the Team member that is managing your job.  The protocols for site visits are HERE.  These apply to both Commercial and Residential (a residential property is treated like a workplace for us).

  • Smart Alliances have developed a Plan and Protocol for working at Alert Level 2.  This can be found HERE

COVID-19 - Level 3

21st ApriL CORONAVIRUS update

Smart Alliances are committed to keeping employees and the wider community safe by preventing the spread of COVID-19. 

We are able to re-open under Alert Level 3 - This means we can re-commence site visits and inspections.  However, these will be conducted in a different manner to align with the Level 3 Protocols for the Construction Industry. 

Below is information that you need to know about our new operating procedures:

  • Our offices are open.  Some of the team will be working from the office and some will remain working from home. At Level 3 only workers and essential services are permitted in the building. However, you can contact us by phone or email just like you have in the past

  • For current and new clients that don’t require site visits our service to you remains the same, with the exception of face to face meetings.  All meetings must be done via phone, email or online platforms.

  • For inspections.  Please phone the office on 03 579 6211 to book your inspections.  There is some additional information that we will require from you.  All of the details are HERE

COVID-19 - Level 4

24th March 2020 Coronavirus update

In accordance with the COVID-19 Level 4 alert Smart Alliances Office will close on Wednesday 25th March 2020. 

The team have all been set up to work from home and will continue to the best of their ability on current and new projects.

Our phones will not be attended.  If you need to make contact with us please email:  info@smartalliances.co.nz your email will be passed to the appropriate person. 

Once the government alert has been lifted it will be business as usual for us and our office will re-open.
